St. Luke’s McCall is a 22-bed community hospital located in the beautiful, rugged mountains of central Idaho. Founded in 1956 as McCall Memorial Hospital, today we’re a modern hospital offering a wide range of services right here at home. These include our 24-hour emergency department, orthopedics, surgical care, maternal and childbirth services, sleep medicine, hospice care, and more. We also have several affiliated outpatient clinics, and offer many programs dedicated to your health that focus on education, fitness, prevention, and wellness. Come join our Surgical Services Team- we are hiring for a rare full time position to support Pre-Op/Post-Op/PACU and the Operating Room. 

* $15k Sign on bonus based on OR experience * (new hires only)

Summary

The RN Circulator is responsible for Preparation of OR prior to surgery, prep of patient when in OR,  maintaining sterile environment during surgery, monitoring patient and ensuring safety and quality during surgery.  Identifying needs of surgeon and healthcare team to eliminate potential health risks.  These nurses are also responsible for some recovery and patient care after surgery.

Schedule 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) working Monday - Friday  8 (9) hour shifts per pay period based on staffing needs with varied days off. Start times will vary from 0 based on surgerey schedule.  More often a start of 0700.  Some call required. Call response time is 30 minutes. 

Qualifications

  • Education: Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN) 
  • Experience: 1+ years Surgical Services (Pre Op, Post Op and OR) experience highly preferred 
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice, BLS required, CNOR highly preferred.
